We offer limitless possibilities for trips along a labyrinth of old roads and trails crisscrossing both Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra. On these trails we cross fields, small rivers, old bridges, often passing through traditional Andean villages. These ancient trails have existed for centuries and serve to connect the villages with each other and with the principal towns. This rustic trail system provides a wide range of options for cyclist with good technical skills, and also challenges the most radical bikers.

NEW BIKE TRIP 2007
DOWNHILL TO THE COAST
_______________________________________
We will be transported up to the Cordillera Negra and start our ride at 4680 meters. From this altitude we will descend down to the town of Cotaparaco where we will stop for about an hour and have a much needed lunch break and energy booster! From there we put the bikes back on the support vehicle arriving at the next pass and then blast down to the town of Chaucayan located at 1550 meters and 60 km from the Panamerican Highway. At this end of this exciting day, you can arrange to come back to Huaraz with us or have us drop you off in the closest town to take a bus back to Lima. Only in Peru will you experience this kind of stuff ! |
